You almost get the feeling of having an extra room when all the awnings are down, which can be advantageous if the weather, contrary to expectations, is not quite optimal. (The owners have used the outdoor area as sleeping area on certain occasions). Parts of the banister below are also covered with awnings. These can be removed/moved as needed.
