Sonnenland, with its “German-sounding” name, is located in a specific area between Maspalomas plains and the higher situated El Tablero.

The area has a few larger hotels, but it is characterized by private residences and former tourist facilities where parts of the complexes are sold to non-residents who use their property for holiday purposes. Therefore the area is very quiet and peaceful.

There are several supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants within walking distance. The new shopping centre in El Tablero is also close by.

It is easy to get around either by taxi or public transport.
